Broccoli Cheese Bites

One of the best combinations in the history of food has got to be broccoli and cheese. It’s one of those classic combinations that doesn’t get old with age or go out of style. When I was younger, I was obsessed with a broccoli and cheddar soup from a neighborhood restaurant and to this day I still look for it on every menu.  However, I found the next best thing! A few weeks ago, I found these broccoli cheese bites that looked delicious. They were originally meant for children in order to help them eat broccoli, but I don’t care.

This simple recipe has only five ingredients and supposedly only takes about 30 minutes to complete.  All you have to do it mix the five ingredients together in a bowl and place mold into little balls.

After a few couple minutes (about 35 to be exact) mine were done. Not quite as beautiful and crispy as the picture from the original recipe (website at the bottom), but the taste was all there!

I really enjoyed how simple this recipe was! It took almost no time to put together and for the overall taste – I was quite pleased. However, they turned out quite small, so they are probably meant as an appetizer rather  than a main component of a meal.
